How to make Microwaved Amla Pickle

Step 1- Prepare fenugreek-mustard powder

To prepare this enticing recipe, first, add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds in a bowl. Microwave it for 30 seconds. Once done, transfer the mix in a blender, and blend it to obtain a fine powder.

    Step 2- Microwave amla

    Next, add amla in a large bowl and wash them under running water. Take another bowl and cut 4 pieces of each amla. Sprinkle salt over them and mix once. Microwave this mix for another 30 seconds. (Note: Salt will remove the bitterness of amla.)

    Step 3- Mix amla with the remaining spices

    Once done, add little more salt, red chilli powder and the prepared fenugreek-mustard powder. Give the ingredients a good mix. Heat in the microwave for another 30 seconds or until amla turns soft.

  • Microwaved Amla Pickle
    Step 4- Remove from microwave and serve

    Once the pickle is ready, take it out of the microwave and serve with any of your meals
